Hailing from Eugene Oregon, Alpha Charlie consists of four young lads
led by front man Andrew Schar and backed by the talented Stubbert
brothers (Ashley, Mckenzie, & Courtney).
With a definitive sound that can be categorized as alternative rock
with influences of Ska, Alpha Charlie's sound is comprised of a myriad
of cool instruments including but not limited to organs, horns, and
cool drum licks, backed by complex song arrangements, which gives Alpha
Charlie a unique sound and flair. Not to mention
the cool vocal style of Andrew Schar which is akin to that of "Sugar
Ray", but yet still all his own.
Featured in an Abercrombie and Fitch in-store CD promotion, Alpha
Charlie's music is straight from the heart and speaks to the college
radio fan.
Their energy and vocals uplift the listener to want to get up and
dance. While at the same time Alpha Charlie, can switch gears with
radio friendly, "love interest"
tunes that pay a nod to "Sugar Ray".
Sadly the band disbanded late last year, due to a new edition to the
Schar Family and a changing of priorities for everyone. But we were
fortunate enough to pick up "And I Wait" and so the music of Alpha
Charlie will continue to live on in the world of Film and Television.
