Emerging from the nationally acclaimed rock band, “the imposters” in
the mid-nineties, Josh Kramon has made a name for himself scoring film
and TV shows, most recently LIFE AS WE KNOW IT (ABC) and VERONICA MARS
(UPN). He also debuted recently as a solo act with the release of his
first record, ”Forward.” Nearly three years in the making, Josh wrote,
produced and performed all the tracks himself to create a truly unique
style that blends elements of rock, funk and electronica.
Kramon has been compared to everyone from Beck and The Chemical
Brothers to Led Zepplin and Radiohead. The fusion of different styles
makes for an exciting listening experience that continues to reveal new
sounds and textures each time.
Forward has a little bit of everything to offer from groove driven
melodic rock, Zepplin inspired rock with elements of electronica , to
instrumental cuts that pay a nod to the Chemical Brothers and the Dust
Brothers. Not to be missed.
