The composing/producing team of Wenty Morris and D.A.Young began in the
summer of 1994 when the two met and discovered they both had similar
musical influences and formed the band The Choclate Hippies along with
bassist Kevin Jones and drummer Geno Jones. From 1994-2001 The
ChoclateHippies toured the U.S. and Europe.
In 2004 Wenty and D.A. created Blackpool Music for the sole purpose of
composing music for film, television and recording artists.
With a studio equipped with eclectic instruments including banjo,
mandolin,percussion, guitars, samplers and keyboards, Morris and Young
write a
fusion of styles ranging from orchestral, funk, hip-hop, pop, rock,
country, emo and world.
Most recent projects include Access Hollywood, Scrubs, Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s Southpark, Quentin
Tarantino’s Kill Bill: Vol. I, and Indie film’s “Walking The Walk” and
“TheArt Of Conversation”.
