Composer, producer, and conductor Rok Golob, a native of Ljubljana,
Slovenia
and now a resident of Los Angeles has been honing his craft as a
musician/composer for
many years now. With a post graduate degree in music from
the University of Southern California, Rok has worked in Radio, Film
and T.V
and the music industry with the likes of such notables as Elmer
Bernstein,
Bjork, Bobby McFerrin, Martika, Christopher Young, and Leonard
Rosenman to name a few.
What makes Rok such a strong and versatile composer
is his diverse musical background which includes working with full
symphony
orchestras, choirs, solo artists, rock-pop-jazz bands and even concert
bands. In addition, Rok is well versed in several musical genres
including Rock, pop, electronic,
Classical, Jazz and ethno.
Rok's resume of accomplishments include playing and composing in a

and playing in the resident band for the innovative talk show "TNT" in
Slovenia. And in 1998, Rok was the musical director for "Stop the Band"
which
became quite a sensation receiving 4 Golden Awards. With a truly
ostentatious orchestra

musical compositions
which were aptly called "Funk & Latin Jazz and Film Town".
And so now Rok Golob continues on as a composer in Los Angeles and is
currently working on a solo record project to be released in 2005. If
you're
looking for some solid orchestral score for your next project, Rok
Golob's
work will definitely impress you. His depth, range and versatility
along
with his ability to capture any type of emotion can be readily heard in
his
